Horse riding instruction

Longe-line, group, individual, and pony riding at the Saint George Equestrian Farm in Zsámbék. Our riding school operates with small group sizes, ensuring there is enough time for both you and the horse. Visits are available by prior arrangement.

We don't rush anyone here: You can learn to ride horses at a relaxed pace in a small-group school riding stable.

Indoor riding arena and sand riding arena

The indoor riding arena is 54×17 meters, and the sandy riding arena is 100×50 meters — the sand arena is regularly watered and harrowed. Thus, there is a place to ride winter and summer.

Lungeing

If you are just starting, we start on the lunge line: the instructor keeps the horse under control the whole time, and you need to focus on your seat and balance. Short, relaxed sessions at your own pace.
Longe line riding, 30 minutes – 7,000 HUF
Longeing pass, 5×30 minutes – 33,000 HUF

Group and individual riding

Once you have started, whether in a group or alone, you can continue with an instructor. The riding school operates with small numbers, so it is never crowded — and if you have your own coach, you can bring them too.
Group riding lesson, 60 minutes – 8,000 HUF
Group riding pass, 10 × 60 minutes – HUF 72,000
Private horseback riding, 50 minutes – 9,000 HUF

Pony riding and pony walk

For the youngest ones, a pony is best: short sessions, getting to know the horse. If you are just looking around, a pony walk is a good start.
Pony riding, 20 minutes – HUF 4,500
Pony riding pass, 5x20 minutes – HUF 20,000
Pony ride, 15 minutes – HUF 3,000

How to start riding with us?

Three steps — we always arrange the appointment in advance.
Coordination
Email or call us, and we will discuss when you can come. Visiting the farm is possible by prior arrangement.
First time
You will get to know the horses, the stable, and the arena, and you will find out which riding style is right for you.
Regular horseback riding
After that, you'll come back by appointment — occasionally or with a pass, whichever suits you best.
